Waiting on God!

We must not only think of our waiting upon God, but also of what is more wonderful still, of God's waiting upon us.

In praying we are often occupied with ourselves, with our own needs, and our own efforts in the presentation of them. In waiting upon God, the first thought is of the God upon whom we wait.

Cease from expecting the least good from yourself, or the least help from anything there is in man, and just yield yourself unreservedly to God to work in you: He will do all for you.
