Privacy Policy

Overview

Postmilstill (“we,” “us”) operates a community archive of sourced Christian quotes at postmilstill.com and related domains. This policy describes what information we collect when you use the site, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

• Account information. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name, email address (when provided by the provider), and profile picture from that provider. We store this in our database to operate your account.
• Community activity. Ratings, comments, quote submissions, source proposals, likes, and similar contributions you make while signed in.
• Usage data. Anonymous visitor identifiers (cookies), approximate online presence for community stats, page views, and copy counts. We do not sell this data.
• Technical data. Standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting.

How we use information

• Authenticate you and operate community features (ratings, comments, submissions).
• Display public contributor profiles and community activity you choose to share.
• Moderate content and maintain archive quality.
• Measure aggregate site activity (e.g. visitors online, quote copies).
• Protect the service against abuse and unauthorized access.

Third-party services

We use the following services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

• Google — optional sign-in (Google Privacy Policy).
• Meta / Facebook — optional sign-in (Meta Privacy Policy). We receive only the profile fields you authorize through Facebook Login.
• Crossway (ESV API) — in-app Bible passages when you use Bible Reading; scripture text is not stored beyond a single request (copyright notice).

Cookies

We use session cookies for sign-in and an anonymous visitor cookie for community analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, but some features (sign-in, contributions) require them.

Data retention

Account and contribution data is kept while your account exists or as needed to operate the archive. Aggregate analytics may be retained in summary form. You may request account deletion by contacting us.

Your choices

• Browse the public archive without signing in.
• Sign out at any time from the site header.
• Request deletion of your account and associated personal data by email (see Contact).

Children

Postmilstill is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will reflect the latest version.
