Having received the blessing, and being in Christ, you are made a new creature: old things are passed away, behold all things are become new. 2 Cor. v. 17. Living under the influence of the gospel, its doctrines supporting your faith, its precepts forming your temper and regulating your conduct, its promises animating your hopes, and its truths habitually filling your thoughts, and drawing forth your affections, you feel yourself as it were in a new world. Your life is unspeakably more happy than before. You have joys which "a stranger intermeddleth not with:" and your joy "no man taketh from you."
