Nor can we thus help them much more appropriately than by praying that they also and in far fuller measure may receive the spirit of prayer, and especially of intercessory prayer. Christ prays for us in heaven: the Holy Ghost prays for us and in us on earth. Christ, Who is God Almighty made Man, dispenseth not Himself from prayer: the Holy Ghost, Who is God Almighty tabernacling in man, dispenseth not Himself from prayer: wherefore those who "pray without ceasing" may above their fellows affirm, "Truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with His Son Jesus Christ."
