Take Courage, Christians, the Captain of your Salvation hath trodden a Path through the mire of Sufferings even to the confines of Canaan, and you may trace his Footsteps through this dirty Way to the everlasting Kingdom. Look therefore unto Jesus, Who for the Joy that was set before him, endured the Cross, despising the Shame, and is set down at the right Hand of the Throne of God. Consider him that endured such Contradiction of Sinners against himself, least ye grow weary, and be discouraged under the Cross, and faint in your Minds.
