If therefore the truth of God be such, that rather then hee would goe backe from his word, hee did send his owne Sonne to suffer death for our redemption: Yea, if his fidelitie were such, as that therefore he sent his sonne that hee might performe his promise, then can we not doubt of the performance of any other promise of God; this being the most difficult of all, either for God to graunt, or for us to beleeve.
