It must be the speciall care of a Christian, that Gods Spirit and the graces thereof be not quenched nor damped in him. The Spirit of God is of a fiery nature, and is as fire in a man. Now a mans care must be to keepe this fire alwayes burning and flaming, and to take heed that he doe nothing that may extinguish, and put out either the flame or the fire, either the light or the heat of it.
