The Father actuated by self-moving love, the Son becomes an offering for sin, and the Spirit applies the atonement by means of doctrines which are sovereign, rational, sublime, and obviously calculated to reflect honour on Deity, and promote the salvation of believing sinners. But the object to be obtained by this scheme renders it unparalleled also. By the scheme of redemption, justice is satisfied, and sinners restored to favour; Justice concurs, that believing sinners shall be made holy now, and happy hereafter. In the heavenly world, justice from the supreme throne, and the redeemed from their mansions of bliss, will contemplate each other with delight, while the Lamb forms the centre of union, in whom they ever embrace with mutual complacency.
