For although he, who believes, is pardoned, accepted and blessed; yet it is not for the Worthiness of his Faith; but for the Worthiness of him in whom he believes, and from whom alone it also proceeds that he does believe. The Scriptures speak of Faith in the highest Terms; and very glorious Things are recorded of it in them.—By Faith we apprehend that, for which we are apprehended of Christ Jesus—By Faith we are justified and have Peace with God, through our Lord Jesus Christ—By Faith we do and suffer the Will of God—Overcome the World,—And (what crowns all that may be said of Faith) by or through Faith we are saved.
