We have seen that the human mind has been constituted with a special reference to the knowledge of God. It was made to know Him. It contains elements of faith, or laws of intelligence, which, when normally applied to the phenomena of experience, necessitate the inference that there is a God, and, apart from all disturbing influences, would conduct to a just apprehension and a true worship of His name.
