Jesus Christ is the Word. He was in the beginning. He is the source of all natural life. But then He is just as much, being God, the source of spiritual life, of all spiritual life, and the source of all eternal life. “In Him was life, and the life was the light of men.” The point I want to make is this: Jesus Christ, in Himself, is the source of all spiritual life; that Christ dwells in us; that He is the source of our spiritual life. Our religious experience from beginning to end, from the time we were born again throughout all eternity, is from Christ, in Christ and by Christ.
