There must be a relative Change, or Alteration of our State and Condition, and Relation. We must be justify’d and adopted. We must, I say, be justify’d, and that freely by the Grace of God, through that Redemption which is in Christ Jesus, and through Faith in his Blood: because till then we are under Condemnation, we are condemned already, and the Wrath of God abideth on us, and we shall not see Life. But being justified by Grace, we are made Heirs according to the Hope of eternal Life. We must also be adopted.
