Admire his free Grace and electing Love, which is the very Spring of your Reconciliation: Adore his infinite Wisdom in finding out this Way of Salvation thro’ a Redeemer; and his matchless Love in giving his own Son, to purchase your Redemption and Reconciliation by the Price of his precious Blood. Magnify the ineffable Love of Christ, which discovers itself in the Work of Redemption, which moved him to undertake so cheerfully for you, to die so willingly in your Room and Stead; and to send forth his Ambassadors to beseech and pray you to be reconciled to God. Whatever Respect is due unto Means and Instruments, ascribe not the Glory to them; but to God alone.
