How live activity is measured(show)(hide)
- Readers online — visitors who loaded a public page in the last 5 minutes (members and guests).
- Total unique visitors — each browser or signed-in account counted once site-wide (sign-in and public page loads both count).
- Unique visitors chart — one count per browser per UTC day; history fills in as people browse the site.
- Recently joined — signed-in members accounts by registration date (not every return visit).
- Community page visits — every time this page is loaded (total).
- Quotes copied — each successful copy from a quote card or quote page (quote text plus attribution when available).

How scoring works(show)(hide)
Archive score
- +10published quote submission
- +5confirmed existing quote
- +8accepted source
- +2comment
- +1source upvote
Accuracy ratings influence a quote's trust level and your vote weight, but do not add to your archive score. New members need moderator approval for comments until they reach archive score 10 (one published quote submission).
Quote trust badges
- Needs sources — default until someone rates accuracy or proposes a source (not a strike against the quote).
- Community-supported — ratings lean accurate.
- Verified — strong ratings plus primary-source confirmations.
- Disputed — ratings suggest misquote, misattribution, or doubt (separate from moderator “under review” status).
